Dance for the Pets

This is our second year with this charity fundraiser. Last year we collected over $1500 that went to local no-kill shelters.

The dancing begins at 9 am and ends at 10:30PM. We have:

• Country and Western Dance Workshop
• Line Dance Teach
• Argentine Tango Teach
• Contra Workshop and Dance
• Country and Western Swing Workshop
• Square Dance Workshops and Dance
• Round Dancing

We also have silent auction items and baskets for a raffle.

In the evening we also have a BBQ.

The hall and everyone associated with the event have donated their time and expertise. It was an amazing event last year and this year we have around 20 people on the committee so there are plenty of people to organise things and make things happen.

The money collected this year will go to Watermelon Mountain Ranch, New Mexico's largest no-kill facility, and Second Chance Animal Rescue.

This idea is really good fun, popular and could be easily put on by other charity groups
